 ServiceNow instance PDI: Upgrade from Washington to Xanadu


We can find the ServiceNow version of PDI by following the steps below.

Login to Personal Developer Instance (PDI)

Go To >> All >> System Diagnostics >> Stats 



Search for 'build name' 

    - this will give the current version.



ServiceNow Xanadu release is available now to upgrade

Let's understand how we can upgrade our PDI from Washington to Xanadu.


Login to developer.servicenow.com


>>Navigate and click on the profile icon



This will open the page where we can see that 


INSTANCE ACTION >> Upgrade Instance

Select the Xanadu Release and click on upgrade instance


The upgrade is in progress.




Once PDI is upgraded we can log in to the PDI. We can notice that the Homepage looks different as below,


Now we can check the build name (version) in the upgraded PDI.
Go To >> All >> System Diagnostics >> Stats 

Click on the stats, this will open the page below.

We can notice that the build name is showing 'Xanadu'
